The stage is set.
Karen Bishop and Tracy Creason (not pictured) helped early-birds purchase entry and get their door prize tickets deposited.
In a genuine show of Oceana community, the Schwabs just walked in and said "How can we help?"
Tracy's jumping the gun, as Lisa Olivero and Gail Olenick (not pictured) kept the drinks coming once the doors opened.
Tracy Creason and Donna Wendt handled the entry duties once 6 p.m. rolled around.
(L-R) Vickie and Mark Bernstein sold raffle tickets while Karen Bishop collected donations. Later, all three (with an assist from Roxanne Remmel, not pictured) would handle the silent auction payments.
Food (sponsored by Grandma's Restaurant) and dessert (donated by San Luis Rey Bakery and Restaurant) fueled the fun.
With door prizes and Opportunity Drawings spread throughout the evening, the energy level stayed high.
Charlie had to have a quick trigger finger to catch Gail Olenick (R) catching a quick break with a friend.
Winning tickets were drawn for nearly 20 Opportunity Drawings and about a dozen door prizes. Then it was time for last bids on almost 20 Silent Auction items and the very popular diamond necklace raffle!
Chuck and Carolyn Kruse (center) kept the food tables stocked all evening.
Ed Leavell (L) and Charlie Wendt were big winners in the Opportunity Drawings and Ed stepped up for several Silent Auction items.
Gail Olenick was the lucky winner of the diamond necklace! Here, she can hardly wait for it to be removed from its display case. You can call her Diamond Girl from now on ;)
